Chance the Rapper has announced the first-ever music festival at the Chicago White Sox stadium U.S. Cellular Field in his hometown, set for Sept. 24, 2016 (while the Sox are in Cleveland). Titled The Magnificent Coloring Day, he’s bringing along collaborators and friends like Skrillex, John Legend, Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Tyler, the Creator, Lil Uzi Vert and surprise guests he announced this morning (July 25).
The Magnificent Coloring Day, his first-ever festival, arrives in the middle of Chance’s Magnificent Coloring Tour, which kicks off Sept. 15 in San Diego and will run through Oct. 21.
Presented by Chance and Bud Light, a 30-second video released by the MC also promises a “very special guest” as the host, and a countdown on Chance’s website indicates that pre-sale tickets will go on sale at 6 p.m. ET for Citi card members.
He’salso adding his name to the ever-growing list of artists who put on their own festivals, a trend that seems to be gaining steam of late. (Two performers on the bill, Wayne and Tyler, also have their own festivals: Lil Weezyana and Camp Flog Gnaw, respectively.)
