Kanye has the world in an uproar for hailing himself and his fiance as fashion icons.
During a radio show Tuesday, Ye made the argument that Kim is far more influential than Michelle Obama and deserves a turn on the cover of Vogue magazine.
“There’s no way Kim Kardashian shouldn’t be on the cover of Vogue. She’s like the most intriguing woman right now. She’s got Barbara Walters calling her like everyday,” he told Ryan Seacrest Tuesday morning.
“And collectively, we’re the most influential with clothing. No one is looking at what [President Barack Obama] is wearing,” he said. “Michelle Obama cannot Instagram a pic like what my girl Instagrammed the other day.”
Of course he’s referring to the recent – and now infamous – while swimsuit pic.
Why is this so shocking? Clearly this is all shock value as well as relative. We’re comparing apples to oranges; an educated woman with upstanding morals and values to one who’s following originated from a sex tape; a historical woman in history to a pop culture craze. SMH …
But I’m not going to slander Kim. She’s just a casualty in this war. It’s her man that needs a muzzle these days.
Furthermore since when do we take Kanye literally? The point of his rant is that he wants his woman on Vogue. All the other fluff in the middle is just Kanye being his same arrogant self. No news here….
