After a weekend arrest, Chris Brown has finally checked into rehab.
“Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility,” a rep for the singer said in a statement to E! News Tuesday. “His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point.”
Chris is still on probation from his 2009 felony assault conviction for attacking Rihanna. Any arrest could be considered a violation of this probation, which could result in jail time.
“He needs help. He keeps self-medicating with weed and alcohol and that’s when he always gets in trouble,” a reported insider said.
Welp, good for him. Hopefully, he sticks with this long enough to receive help. Because seriously…. he was waaay out of control.
