In a rare instance last week, Travis Scott sat down with DJ Whoo Kid on Shade 45 and spilled some tea.
After pics surfaced of him with Larry Jackson – the head of content for Apple Music – he confirmed that he had indeed inked a deal with Apple Music, joining the ranks of Future, Drake and Chance The Rapper. “I just did my partnership with Apple Music and sh-t,” he told Whoo Kid. “He always gave me that advice. You know, just to figure out where I’m going. So, I’m glad he’s down to take this trip with the kid and with this album; it’s super good.”
Unfortunately, if you’re looking for a release date for his upcoming album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, there’s still no release date….but take comfort in knowing there’s a small prize in the wait.
