Since the drop of Kamaiyah’s project A Good Night in the Ghetto in March of this year, the buzz around her has been growing fierce.
In May, the flame continued to stay lit with her appearance on YG’s lead single “Why You Always Hatin?” featuring Drake and news that she’s signed with Interscope Records.
Now she’s premiering her new A Good Night in the Ghetto mini-documentary, directed by Chris Simmons with XXL. In it she takes viewers on a tour of her hometown of East Oakland, discussing her childhood and days prior to her first headlining show at the New Parish in Oakland.
Kamaiyah is currently on Logic, G-Eazy, YG, and Yo Gotti’s Endless Summer tour and just recently hit the studio with Travi$ Scott.
