Lil Wayne Reveals Cover of Memoir

wayne_leanLil Wayne has revealed the cover of his prison memoir entitled Gone ‘Til November: A Journal Of Rikers Island, which is slated to drop in October.

The cover, shared by Weezy himself via Instagram, shows a red composition notebook with the words ‘Gone ‘til November’ scribbled across in a huge graffiti font, with several tally marks – which presumably represent the counting down of the days – in the background.

Although simple enough, the cover gives the reader a personal vibe, almost creating the sense that you’re reading the rapper’s actual journal, and according to the publisher in charge of the book, you kind of are. According to published reports, the book was “taken directly from Wayne’s own journal” and will “reveal the true story of what happened while he was at Rikers Island, exploring everything from his daily rituals to his interactions with other inmates to how he was able to keep himself motivated and grateful.”
