50 Cent and Dr. Dre Hit With Lawsuit

50 Cent and Dr. Dre have been hit with a lawsuit claiming they took the beat for 50’s “P.I.M.P” off his debut Get Rich or Die Tryin.”

Producer Brandon Parrott claims once his track was selected the song’s production was only credited to D-12 member Denaun Porter in the album’s packaging. Parrott was later informed this was an oversight and signed a settlement based on that explanation. Now, he claims he has new information that says otherwise. He alleges to have heard interviews where 50’s camp make it clear they wanted to use the track the whole time. Parrott is seeking an undisclosed amount.
