When security footage emerged the night of May 5, 2014 of Solange physically assaulting Jay Z in the elevator while Beyonce stood silently in the corner watching everyone speculated that anger like that could only be spawned from infidelity. Some even speculated that woman in question was Rachel Roy, fashion designer and ex-wife of former partner Dame Dash. However there was never proof until a bone was thrown last night.
Just after Beyonce aired her highly anticipated HBO special Lemonade, the visuals to her upcoming album, Rachel Roy posted a photo of herself along with the caption, “Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always. live in the light #nodramaqueens.”
Perhaps this was in response to Beyonce’s “Apathy” song in which she alludes that her man may be cheating with “Becky with the good hair.”
