Saturday (April 16), Beyonce posted her first message about her upcoming project – Lemonade. The following day came yet another post offering just a little more information.
“The past and the present merge to meet us here,” the trailer begins. Shot in what appears to be an abandoned, dark parking garage, many fans are commenting that the somewhat unsettling sneak peek reminds them of something out of American Horror Story.
Throughout the trailer, Beyonce’s voice is heard asking questions like “What are you hiding?”, “Why can’t you see me?” and “What am I doing, my love?”
“Lemonade” will world premiere on HBO Saturday, April 23 at 9 p.m. EST.
Fans have been anticipating Beyoncé’s next solo album before her “Formation World Tour” which is now just two weeks, on Apr. 27 in Miami, FL.
