Kanye West is making headlines again.
He was photographed touring IKEA Sweden Tuesday, sparking speculation that he could be in talks with the ready-to-assemble furniture giant on a design collaboration.
“Star in te (sic) house,” Emma Johansson, an interior design project leader at the company, captioned a photo of Yeezus.
A spokesperson for the IKEA in Älmhult — home of the retailer’s first store — would confirm little more than the fact that West had visited with its design department.
“At IKEA we are constantly curious about different people, companies, artists and events around the world,” read a statement obtained by the Daily News.
“To have these connections and inspiring meetings is an important way for us to find new ways to create a better everyday life for the many people.”
West has distant ties to IKEA: He previously hired London-based designer Katie Eary — who currently offers a limited-edition furniture collaboration through the Swedish company — to work on his Paris Fashion Week collection in 2011.
“Welcome to @Sweden and IKEA in Älmhult @kanyewest!” wrote one Twitter user. “You are now truly a Swede and we welcome you to our community.”
