Kanye West is back at it again. Twitter has officially become his preferred platform to speak on “major” issues. This time he spoke on CDs.
Monday (March 7) he hopped on Twitter to let the world know that he’s been thinking about killing all future releases of his on compact disc and sticking to streaming for the rest of his career.
“I was thinking about not making CDs ever again… Only streaming,” he wrote on Twitter. “The Yeezus album packaging was an open casket to CDs r.i.p.” He soon seemed to confirm the decision, saying, “uuuuuuum, so there it is… No more CDs from me.
As expected things went left fairly quickly as he began to question why the general public wanted to stunt his greatness.
“question… Why do people not want me to be me?” he tweeted. “I want people to be the best version of themselves and I will be the best version of me. Growing and learning but not being told to stop …not being stunted. please avoid trying to talk me out of being me in the future.” He ended his short burst of tweets with “#hashtag positive vibes.”
