Well 50 Cent just got a little extra change in his pockets. He recently sold his Connecticut mansion for $8 million, according to TMZ.
The buyer of the rapper’s 50,000 square foot home is reportedly planning to renovate the 21-bedroom, 25-bathroom property into an assisted living center for the elderly.
Currently, the mansion features an infinity pool, helicopter pad, basketball courts, casino and nightclub.
50 originally put the house On the market back in 2007 with an asking price of $18.5 million. Over time, he’s slowly lowered the price. It was set at $9,999,999 in 2011 and dropped again to $8.5 million in December.
He purchased the property in 2003 from Mike Tyson’s ex-wife for $4.1 million and reportedly spent between $6 million and $10 million on renovations.
The Power producer filed for bankruptcy in July and, in court documents, he says he spends $72,000 per month on the home and $5,000 on gardening.
