Childish Gambino sure is making a name for himself in this rap game. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was laughing at him on NBC’s “Community” show. Now, he’s spitting freestyles.
The emcee was a guest on Sway In The Morning this morning when he took the opportunity let off a few bars over Drake’s “Pound Cake” instrumental. Switching his flow a couple of times, he seems pretty aware of the questions surrounding his new transition to the industry:
“Are you still on the show [Community], are you dating Jhene [Aiko]?” (See the video below)
In other Childish news, he caused quite a stir at New York University Monday night when he sent out the following tweet: “me and my friends are gonna play some of the new album in washington sq. park now, youre around.” That send hundreds of fans his way.
