If you recall, back in September, Young Thug had some strong words for Plies after he (supposedly unknown to Plies) posted a video of his daughter saying she was “muthafucking tired.” To be specific, he threatened to slap Plies the next time he sees him.
Welp fast forward to now and Complex has finally heard Plies’ response to Young Thug’s reaction to re-posting a video thousands of others had already shared.
“First of all, I don’t play with a certain tier of artist,” Plies said. “I don’t play with a certain tier of artists, like you trying to get poppin and shit. I don’t fuck with lower tier artists, I just don’t.”
As to why Plies thinks of Young Thug as a lower tiered artist, the Grammy-nominated rapper refers to Thuggers sales of I’m Up which sold roughly 10,000 copies the first week of it’s release.
“Don’t you go back and forth with a m*thafucka that ain’t on your level,” Plies added.
