If you were waiting to see Lauryn Hill hit the stage during this year’s Grammy’s you may have felt a little let down to learn she was a little late, perk up because she joined The Weeknd on The Tonight Show.
The two performed The Weeknd’s new single “In The Night” from his latest album Beauty Behind The Madness.
The pair were originally set to perform the single at the Grammys, but Lauryn was a no-show.
“They had made it clear from the start that although Ms. Hill was going to attempt to make the show, she could not confirm, as there were too many logistical issues that could potentially prevent the performance from happening,” reps of Lauryn Hill’s said in a statement, also noting they were unhappy the Grammys promoted her appearance even though she wasn’t 100% sure if the performance would indeed happen.
