Look who just turned 25!
Rihanna, her friends and big, little bro headed to Hawaii to celebrate the milestone birthday. Oh yeah … and thanks to Instagram, we all saw that Chris Breezy was there too. Report after report had these two on the rocks but **gasp** the media was wrong. Personally, I’m convinced these two are playing a huge publicity game but hey … what do I know. They’re only friends on my head.
Gotta admit though, I think she could do better than him, but that’s what your twenties are for. We’ve all been there. Oh the stories that I’m one day I’ll share. At least she’s having a ball in the meantime.
Anywho … in my true closet love of flipping through Instagram photos, it wasn’t the sighting of Chris that got me excited. It was the eye-catching camera. Let’s just say I’m not in love with my “top quality” (sarcasm) digital Sony camera. So it wasn’t hard for Rihanna’s one-handed camera shot to catch my eye. Turns out it’s a Fuji instant camera (Fuji Instax Mini 7S to be exact)…like an old-school Polaroid. (Sidebar: One thing you’ll learn about me is that I love vintage.)
Not only can you get your pic printed out real-time, but you can adjust the brightness. It’s like a modern day Polaroid. The camera comes in white, pink, blue and brown. I’ve never had a Polaroid, but these pics look pretty good (check them out on PerezHilton). It’s the equivalent vintage look that many apps used on Instagram reflect. Not to mention you’re guaranteed to become the life of the party if you break that out. Hmmmm…I think this may be a new addition to my Pinterest board.
