(Updated 7:00am) : Well … it’s official, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are engaged.
E! News reports that Kanye popped the question in front of their friends and family at AT&T Park in San Francisco.
Kanye, whose Yeezus Tour touches down in nearby San Jose tomorrow night, rented out the stadium for the occasion.
Having received future mother-in-law Kris Jenner’s blessing, Kanye proposed to Kim with a 15-carat diamond ring made by celebrity jeweler Lorraine Schwartz.
He also arranged for the jumbo screen to read “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!” and a 50-piece orchestra to play Lana Del Rey’s “Young and Beautiful” and Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo and West’s ‘Knock You Down.”
Earlier in the night, Kanye was reportedly a presenter at the 2013 Hollywood Film Festival, so his quick flight north to the City added to the surprise of his proposal, E! reported.
This would be the third marriage for Kim. She was married to Damon Thomas in 2000, a music producer. She was 20 at the time. Most recently, she married Kris Humphries. Their four month old daughter Nori, is the first for both Kim and Ye.
