A$AP Ferg has revealed that his sophomore album – Always Strive and Prosper – will be released next month.
“It’s going to be very real this album. This album is a story of my life. It’s basically a documentary of my life and it’s very personal,” Ferg told Revolt. “Honestly, it’s my best work yet and I don’t even know what else I’ma do to top this in the future because it’s just my all right now.”
Look for features on the album from Missy Elliott, Chris Brown, Future, Rick Ross, and Swizz Beatz. This will be the follow up to his 2013 debut Trap Lord which was highlighted by the single “Work,” “Shabba” and “Hood People.” Earlier in the week he put out the video for the new single “New Level.”
In addition to his, Ferg will be voicing characters for the upcoming HBO animated series Animals along with A$AP Rocky.
The animated series will depict a world where New York City is filled with anthropomorphic animals including rats, pigeon, cats and dogs.
