Well here’s another one …. Another win that is for Kendrick Lamar. Just days after hanging out with Barack Obama at The White House, it’s been announced that K-Dot will be honored with the key to the city of his hometown Compton next month.
The news was shared by Compton mayor, Aja Brown, who had nothing but praise for how Kendrick reps his hometown while spreading positivity throughout the world. “You inspire millions + rep #Compton w/ honor! Excited to give you the #keytothecity Feb13th! #VisionForCompton #ComptonUp,” she tweeted.
The key giving ceremony will take place in Compton on February 13 — just two days before Kendrick could potentially sweep the Grammys. As you may remember he has 11 nominations.
