Days ago Page Six reported that Nicki Minaj posted $100K bail for her brother – Jelani Maraj – who has been charged with raping a 12-year-old girl in Nassau County. However….apparently after days of digging published reports reveal that it was their mother.
Carol Maraj put up her house and two $50,000 promissory notes to set her son free. On his bail paperwork, Jelani Maraj says he is employed by “Pink Personality Inc.” one of Minaj’s enterprises.
He appeared in court Wednesday (December 9) to answer to felony charges of sexual conduct against a child in the first degree and first degree rape. He allegedly has abused a 12-year-old since April. He faces up to 50 years in prison if found guilty.
A judge ordered Maraj to stay at least 100 yards away from the alleged victim and to give up any weapons in his possession.
