If you missed J. Cole’s highly successful “Forest Hills Drive” world tour then you’re in luck. Fans will get to view his Homecoming Concert.
Back in August his tour ended with a special homecoming show in the rapper’s hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Held at the Crown Coliseum, it featured guest appearances by JAY Z and Drake, along with the tour’s supporting acts Big Sean, YG, Jeremih, and Dreamville Records. Welp … that show is now coming to HBO.
Debuting on the cable network on January 9 at 10 p.m. EST, the 90-minute broadcast will include performances of all 13 songs off his platinum-selling 2014 Forest Hills Drive LP, backstage access, and a compelling life story through Cole’s music, and words from the man himself plus close friends and family. The special will also be available via HBO NOW and HBO GO following its premiere.
