Kerry Washington has just teamed up with skincare and makeup brand Neutrogena as a creative consultant.
Kerry will not only serve as face of the company but will also share her experiences and insights with their marketing, research and development and retail sectors.
Kerry spoke about her good news in a statement:
“The more I learned about the company’s values, guiding principles, and commitment to quality, the more I realized that Neutrogena is so much more than your average beauty company. I knew I wanted to be a part of a company that is helping to make a difference in people’s lives. As a creative consultant, I will be able to have a real voice inside this amazing company, which is a tremendously exciting endeavor.”
Michelle Freyre, General Manager of Neutrogena, spoke on why Kerry was a natural fit for the brand:
“Neutrogena is about making a difference in women’s lives. We partnered with Kerry because she’s an inspiration to women everywhere and shares this same value system. Her work ethic, charity commitments and, of course, her ability to balance it all while also having beautiful, healthy skin, made this an obvious fit. She is truly aspirational to everyone.”
Kerry is doing big things. It’s so nice to see people evolve. I just saw her this week in Spike Lee’s “She Hate Me” on HBO. Now’s she’s a household name. Go girl!
