Rapper Lil Wayne has expanded his fashion empire by becoming a “major shareholder” in Parisian watch company wize&ope.
wize&ope offers its flagship watch, as well as sunglasses, toys, headphones and other accessories. Weezy celebrated the announcement by making an appearance at the concept store in Paris this week.
“My personal style, as well as my everyday lifestyle, has always been about individuality and being open-minded,” Lil Wayne said in a statement. “I was drawn to wize&ope because of their amazing design, fresh packaging and their support of individuality. I’m excited to bring wize&ope watches stateside and inspire their future collections.”
wize&ope is currently available throughout Europe and Asia, and will debut with Lil Wayne is its brand ambassador in North America in February 2014.
