Sheriff’s deputies raided Lil Wayne’s Miami Beach mansion on Tuesday (Nov. 3) as part of a civil case.
Last month, a Miami-Dade County judge denied a private jet company’s request to have officers seize assets at the home. That followed a ruling that Weezy owed the jet leasing company Signature Group $2 million over missed payments.
According to TMZ reports, the raid is related and the court order permits Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s deputies to break locks on the house if necessary in order to gain entry and confiscate property.
Local WSVN News reports civil processing units arrived at the residence after receiving a judge’s order to seize assets.
Helicopters from WSVN and Local 10 reported seeing items loaded from the house into a large truck.
