Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd Lead AMA Nominations

Nominations for the American Music Awards are in and Nicki Minaj and The Weekend are among the R&B/ hip-hop acts leading the pack.

The Weeknd leads with five nominations, Nicki Minaj follows with three while Rihanna, Drake, Fetty Wap, Wiz Khalifa and Chris Brown have all been nominated twice.

The show will broadcast live from Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Nov. 22 at 8p.m. EST on ABC. Performers and presenters have not yet been announced. A full list of nominees and categories are below.
