A concert promoter is suing Missy Elliott for allegedly failing to promote two scheduled gigs in Brazil.
TMZ reports that Misdemeanor skipped out on a national TV appearance on Brazil’s Rede Globo in November 2012 to hype up her performances.
Booker, Jean Faustin, said the no-show harmed ticket sales and forced him to cancel the sets, both slated to happen later that month in Rio and Porto Alegre. He also claims he paid a $75,000 deposit for Elliott to perform and seeks reimbursement, plus interest.
