Could a N.E.R.D. Album Be On The Way?

When Pharrell took over iHeartRadio’s Twitter for a Q&A session Tuesday (Sept 22), a little tea was spilled. When one fan wondered if he was planning to add to the N.E.R.D. discography in the future, he didn’t hold back on a strong affirmative: “OF COURSE!” No word on when this might occur.

For those that don’t remember … N.E.R.D. consists of Pharrell, Chad Hugo (also his partner in The Neptunes) and Shay Haley. The group’s last album, Nothing, came out in 2010. This August, Pharrell played a previously-unreleased N.E.R.D. tune on his Beats 1 Radio show. At the end of 2014, the producer also unveiled a new N.E.R.D. track slated to appear in the Spongebob Squarepants movie.
