The 2015 BET Hip-Hop Awards are a month away, and Drake is leading the nomination pack with 12 nods. He received nods in categories including Lyricist of the Year, MVP of the Year, Album of the Year and the People’s Champ Award.
Right behind Drake is Big Sean, who lands 10 nominations. Nicki Minaj lands nine nods, while Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole each earn eight nominations. Returning to the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center in Atlanta, the BET Hip-Hop Awards 2015 will be taped on October 9, airing on October 13 at 8 p.m. EST. Snoop Dogg will serve as host at this year’s show once again.
