Earlier this week, Ice T appeared on the Sway In The Morning show and chimed in on the Meek and Drake beef.
After being brought up to speed, Sway played Ice “Back to Back” to which Ice said, “That’s not a battle rap. A battle rap is like when Nas Ether’d Jay, you go in right at the first word you start dissing a nigga, you let a nigga know right out the gate. It’s not out the side of your mouth, it’s not subliminal…Did he say Meek Mill’s name? Get the fuck out of here, that’s not a battle rap, he dissed a nigga. That’s how women do it.”
He went to add that he thought Meek would come a little more aggressive with it. Watch the interview HERE
That aside, he did share that he and wife Coco were expecting their first baby so congrats to them!
My two-cents: Welp, too bad Philly let us down but I gotta say I agree with T. Yes, Meek didn’t deliver, but that doesn’t mean that Drake knocked him out. Dude won by default.
