Looks like racial profiling is not just a problem in America. Snoop Dogg found that out the hard way.
After a Saturday night (July 25) concert in Sweden, Snoop Dogg was stopped at a police check-point. According to the Guardian, “Police carrying out roadside controls noticed that Snoop Dogg [whose car was pulled over] seemed to be under the influence of narcotics. He was arrested and taken to the police station to take a urine test,” said Daniel Nilsson, a police spokesman for the central Uppsala region.
While in the police station Snoop took to his Instagram account to tell his side of the story. “They in the police station doing a report on me, cuz,” he said, shaking his head in the brief clip. “Racial profiling, [they] came and snatched me out my car and brought me down here. I’m in Sweden right now. It’s all good, though. Sorry about that peoples. I will never be back to your country. It’s been real.”
At the station he was tested for narcotics, which he says came up clean (blank stare), and he was later released.
