According to a police report on Friday July 10, a New Jersey ShopRite cashier was attacked by a group of three men – one believed to be Fetty Wap – after a brief altercation between the cashier and a woman who was friends with the assailants.
It’s believed that the woman was offended by the 19-year-old cashier said and as a result slapped him. At that point, the three men jumped in and began grappling with the employee. The victim has not pressed charges. Police describe the visible injuries as “minor swelling.”
According to North Jersey.com, the employee believes one of the assailants was Fetty Wap. Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg says that authorities are still looking to identify, track down and hear statements from the members of the attacking group, in the event that the cashier later chooses to press charges.
