In the final part of Meek Mill’s CRWN interview, he explains why he isn’t inspired by J.Cole and Kendrick Lamar.
“Let me get this clear. J. Cole is dope as shit, he one of the hottest rappers doing it right now. Kendrick Lamar, I think he the best lyricist doing it right now in the rap game, but I don’t listen to that type of music. I used to listen to Kendrick shit. This time he came with some shit…it just wasn’t in my lane.”
He also explained how he felt about Nicki’s pop music
“If Nicki do a pop song, nine times out of ten I ain’t never gonna listen to it in my life.”
And talked about his new app, Bike Life.
