One week after being arrested for assaulting a groundskeeper, Rick Ross has been released from jail.
TMZ reports that Ross posted a $2 million bond for his release earlier today (July 1). He pulled together the funds from three different sources: a million dollars in equity from a Georgia property formerly owned by Evander Holyfield, $500,000 from a bail bondsman, and another half a mill in cash.
Despite his release, Rozay is still facing charges of assault, kidnapping, and aggravated battery for reportedly pistol-whipped a live-in groundskeeper for inviting friends over for a birthday celebration. He will have to wear an ankle-monitor now that he’s out and his lawyers offered up the entirety of the Georgia property listed in the bond to the county if he intimidates or threatens any witnesses to the crime.
