The Game Being Sued for $12 Million

The lawsuit stems from The Game’s recent warrant. On Monday (June 8), The Game turned himself in to police after a warrant was issued for his arrest. The warrant stems from a March incident where he punched an off-duty LAPD officer named Onyebuchi Awaji. The punch was caught on video. Awaji claims that after it was thrown, Game threatened to kill him – an allegation Game denies. TMZ reports that Awaji is suing Game for some $12 million, with the breakdown as follows:

Pain and suffering: $1 million
Emotional distress: $1 million
Medical expenses (to date): $50,000
Medical expenses (future): $100,000
Punitive damages: $10 million

The lawsuit was filed in April; Game has yet to respond.
