Kanye West shared some valuable insight during L.A. Trade-Technical College’s graduation ceremony on Friday (May 29).
If you’re wondering why Ye chose that school, it was the location where he carried out his community service time for his assault case in July 2013.
“Never stop fighting no matter what anyone says,” Ye said. “If it’s in your gut, your soul, there’s nothing, no worldly possession that should come between you and your expression.”
“Even for me as a successful musician, in order to make the transition it was really all but impossible,” he added. “People always try to box you in to what they know you best for. I feel extremely honored to see new talent fighting or their voice.”
