Kanye West has finally settled the 2013 lawsuit over a sample used on his Yeezus single, “Bound 2.”
The suit was filed by a singer of The Ponderosa Twins Plus One – Ricky Spicer – who named Yeezy, Roc-A-Fella Records, Universal Music Group and Island Def Jam Music Group for use of their song “Bound.”
THe settlement is for an undisclosed amount. Spicer was seeking compensation because his altered voice can be heard throughout the chorus singing the lyrics “Bound, bound/ Bound to fall in love.”
