Early this morning (May 17), Queens rapper Chinx was killed in a shooting. He was 31-years-old.
Born Lionel Pickens in Far Rockaway Queens, Chinx was a member of French Montana’s Coke Boys crew, and signed to French’s record label of the same name.
Pix 11 reports that Chinx was transported to Jamaica Medical Center at around 5am, with gunshot wounds to his torso. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. The shooting occurred at Queens Boulevard and 84th Drive. Another person was in the car with Pickens, and is currently in critical condition. More details to come.
