Welp, she’s back.
Ms. Jackson (assuming you’re nasty) has announced her return to music and an upcoming world tour this year, one day before her 49th birthday. Early Saturday morning, Janet made the revelation in a 50-second video posted online.
“I promised you’d hear it from my lips and now you will. This year, new music, new world tour, a new movement. I’ve been listening.”

Janet’s last studio album — her tenth, called Discipline — was released in 2008 by Island. It was followed by the collection Number Ones a year later.
